Good afternoon, ANZ has been sanctioned for the most “serious and systemic breaches” under its remit, after the bank failed to stop or refund fees levied to deceased estates after customers’ deaths. Virgin Australia pilots have rejected a new pay deal after the Transport Workers Union, which represents about 25 per cent of the pilot workforce, raised concerns the new deal could lead to increased pilot fatigue. And Bendigo and Adelaide Bank has announced consumer boss Richard Fennell will take over chief executive Marnie Baker's role at the end of August.
