Another homicide for EBR; Chief Murphy Paul at Biden summit on violence

There was another homicide in East Baton Rouge overnight, in a shooting at an apartment complex on the south side. The sheriff's office says one person was killed, one person was injured and one person was arrested at a relatively new apartment complex near the corner of Nicholson Drive and Gardere Lane.

Speaking of violence, Baton Rouge Police Chief Murphy Paul will be in Washington this afternoon to meet with President Joe Biden and others about an increase in problems across the country. Afterward, the president is scheduled to make remarks about an anti-gun violence measure.
