Clearing encampments: One of New Orleans' most visible homeless encampments along Calliope Street is being cleared out and shut down, Sophie Kasakove reports. It's the fourth cluster that the city and its nonprofit partners have targeted and comes as the New Orleans prepares to host the Super Bowl early next year. Supreme reversal: The Louisiana Supreme Court has upheld a state law giving survivors of childhood sex abuse more time to file lawsuits, a surprising reversal of an earlier ruling that has implications for Roman Catholic dioceses across the state and and those who say they were victimized by clergy. Stephanie Riegel has the details. DEQ examined: The Louisiana Legislative Auditor is taking a look at the "workplace culture" of the state Department of Environmental Quality, which, under new leadership, has seen an exodus of high-level staff.
