I do think the grocery industry should follow suit. And actually think it's a brilliant idea!
As we saw with the roll-out of the covid vaccine, the best way to get to all neighborhoods is through local grocery stores.
I cannot think of a better way to tackle food insecurity than through those supplying communities with access to food!
Many food stores are already doing this by giving to their local food banks and having a deeply discounted section of soon-to-be-expired foods. ** Have another thought?
