ANALYSIS: Biden rallies the establishment in bid to turn back Sanders

The Democratic empire is quickly aligning its forces to strike back at Bernie Sanders, writes NBC's Jonathan Allen in an analysis.  

Before Joe Biden's resurgence in South Carolina, party leaders had long worried that the fractured non-Sanders vote would magnify the Vermont senator's Super Tuesday edge and put him on a path to winning the nomination outright. But the departures of moderates Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar mean Sanders' chances of emerging Tuesday with an eye-popping delegate count are probably reduced.
