More Quotes From The Unseen Therapist E-Book Introducing Gabriëlle Rutten, MD An MD speaks on EFT One such progressive physician is Gabriëlle Rutten, MD, (from Holland). She has been following my “True Cause = Negative Emotions” concept for years and has had such stunning results that she has abandoned her regular medical practice in favor of these new ideas. In her article that follows, she provides you with a bit of useful history by opening with her use of my earlier discovery — EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). She then includes her reasoning behind why she has shifted her conventional medical practice in favor of The Unseen Therapist. Note that her words echo many of the threads in this book. Example: “It was such a relief for me to be able to help clients find the real cause of their problems instead of merely treating their symptoms.” How I Threw out my Prescription Pad and Never Looked Back by Gabriëlle Rutten, MD Before his latest advancement regarding The Unseen Therapist, Gary provided the world with his original process, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). It was introduced in 1995 and is in the hands of millions today. It is a remarkably effective combination of a special form of cognitive therapy and acupressure that has reduced the conventional therapy process from weeks, months or years down to a fraction of that time. I discovered EFT in 2002 and was immediately drawn to it. It was so very different from what I had learned as an MD. Interestingly, Gary is a Stanford trained engineer and has no formal training or licensing as a therapist or physician. This is a distinct advantage because, as an outsider to the medical profession, he can see the healing field through unique glasses. This brought about his special view on cause and effect that, in turn, produced healing results that have been previously thought impossible.

Is There Scientific Evidence That Emotional Stress Weakens Our Immune Systems?
"Psychologists in the field of "psychoneuroimmunology" have shown that state of mind affects one's state of health."
Question: It seems logical that emotional stress such as anger, resentment, guilt, grief, fear depression and the like would weaken our immune systems. Is there any scientific evidence for this?
Answer: Yes... lots. In fact, medicine is quite aware that these emotional stressors often create cascades of "negative chemistry" (my term) within our human bodies. For example, Adrenalin and Cortisol go out of balance AND countless other chemical reactions and repair mechanisms become seriously compromised. These emotions create quite a mess within and it is my experience that they are major contributors, if not THE causes, to our diseases.
This is also intuitive common sense and is born out by the numerous results and "Impossible" Healings that we have published on our website.
For the scientifically mlnded, here is an article on this topic from the American Psychological Association. It was submitted by Nina Joshi Ramsey
Stress Weakens the Immune System
Stressed out? Lonely or depressed? Don't be surprised if you come down with something. Psychologists in the field of "psychoneuroimmunology" have shown that state of mind affects one's state of health.
In the early 1980s, psychologist Janice Kiecolt-Glaser, PhD, and immunologist Ronald Glaser, PhD, of the Ohio State University College of Medicine, were intrigued by animal studies that linked stress and infection. From 1982 through 1992, these pioneer researchers studied medical students. Among other things, they found that the students' immunity went down every year under the simple stress of the three-day exam period. Test takers had fewer natural killer cells, which fight tumors and viral infections. They almost stopped producing immunity-boosting gamma interferon and infection-fighting T-cells responded only weakly to test-tube stimulation.
Those findings opened the floodgates of research. By 2004, Suzanne Segerstrom, PhD, of the University of Kentucky, and Gregory Miller, PhD, of the University of British Columbia, had nearly 300 studies on stress and health to review. Their meta-analysis discerned intriguing patterns. Lab studies that stressed people for a few minutes found a burst of one type of "first responder" activity mixed with other signs of weakening. For stress of any significant duration - from a few days to a few months or years, as happens in real life - all aspects of immunity went downhill. Thus long-term or chronic stress, through too much wear and tear, can ravage the immune system. Read more

| | How To Address A Remaining Global Unrest
"Thus your global unrest will likely persist until you resolve the true, foundational cause(s)."
Question: For some of my specific events, even though I've knocked down the legs of each aspect, I still have a broad deep feeling stuck inside that I can't seem to name. Example, I worked on "the time [person] ditched me at the movie theater...(and the myriad aspects)". When I revisit to check the 0-10 intensity, even a couple weeks later after this example and many other events, I still have a global, deep, not good feeling. How to address that remaining global unrest?
Answer: This is a common occurrence and your question allows me to expand on some important points:
The example you gave of being ditched at the movie theater is one that occurred in adulthood. As such, it is not likely to be as foundational as one that happened in childhood. Accordingly, the intensity you still feel about this "ditching episode" is likely bouncing off of some unresolved specific events from much further back. You may get some temporary relief with your adulthood approach but, until you resolve the foundational cause(s), your results will tend to be partial or temporary. Thus your global unrest will likely persist until you resolve the true, foundational cause(s). Finding these true cause(s) can be a challenge and that's why we have many tools for you within your OEFT Course Membership. Examples: Advanced Lesson #4: Expanding on Specific Events - Bouncing Off Foundational Issues. Advanced Lesson #5: Expanding on Specific Events - Table Top/Table Legs Metaphor (this Lesson contains an in-depth discussion on foundational issues occurring in the womb. It is written by Gabrielle Rutten, MD). Advanced Lesson #10: Asking The Unseen Therapist For Essential Issues (here you will learn to ask The Unseen Therapist directly, very powerful). Hope this helps, Gary
| | Newbie Gets Great Surrogate Results "Beats the heck out of conflict resolution :-)" Intro from Gary: Marni Morris is a beginning student in our Optimal EFT Course Membership and, as such, is still developing her skills and confidence in these High-End procedures. Nonetheless, she shares three insightful experiences from her early training. Nice work. From Marni: In the way of introduction, I am a real beginner. I enthusiastically signed up to your Optimal EFT course (although it’s taking me a while to go through it as I am in the middle of a couple of other courses!) and I am slowly working my way through Lesson #4 of the 30 Advanced Lessons. I am relatively new to energy work but have been learning quite a bit and am thinking about becoming a healer. While I’ve been practicing the Personal Peace Procedure regularly, I’ve been toying with sending good, healing, loving energy (a.k.a. the Unseen Therapist) to animals, my daughters, and especially to any household conflicts. A few examples: 1. A racoon had been lying on the fence outside our house without moving most of the morning. We all thought something must be wrong, including someone from the condominium complex who started videoing it and spoke of calling an animal place to remove it. I did my best (not really being advanced enough yet to know how to do this) to direct some loving, healing energy its way. There’s no way to know for certain if this helped, but it did get up not too long afterwards and moved away. Coincidence? Possibly, but I rather hope the Unseen Therapist helped…. 2. I have also tried to direct it to my daughter’s guinea pigs – possibly with some success- when they seem out of sorts, as well as to both of my grown-up daughters when they are feeling a bit off either physically or emotionally. They can usually feel the energy (Her Love?), and it almost always helps them feel better. 3. But more than anything, the biggest difference I have noticed is when dealing with conflict. Not only has this been a great technique to clear negative energy that seems to linger after an altercation, but in the past whenever there was any conflict it could take half the day to get things settled, soothe hurt feelings, etc. Now, with the help of the Unseen Therapist and directing positive, loving energy throughout the house, as well as to the participants involved things are worked out and back to normal in a fraction of the time. Beats the heck out of conflict resolution :-) Marni Morris |
