" So far, I’m really liking the idea behind the new Lomography Neptune Convertible Art Series lenses. They’re well built, seem very different from everything else out there, and also seem to be a pretty solid deal all around. " |
" Lomography has designed the base and the set of three prime lenses: 3.5/35, 2.8/50 and 4.0/80. They practically fit inside your pocket and give you versatility and good quality on the budget " |

Less than a week ago, we returned to Kickstarter with an Art Lens System unlike any other. In just two and a half hours, the project was fully funded. Incredible! Thank you so much to everyone who pledged for a Neptune Convertible Art Lens System — we can barely believe it but we’ve also hit our first stretch goal of $350,000. To celebrate, we’ll be sending out a macro adapter with every pledge package that includes the Neptune Convertible Art Lens System! |
To sweeten the deal even more, we’re adding another stretch goal! If we make it to a new target of $500,000 we’ll include a beautiful leather pouch to keep your front lenses safe and protected whilst you’re out on your adventures. Back us on Kickstarter now and help us reach our next target! |
" But what if you could also swap out the individual pieces inside that lens? That is exactly what Lomography did with the Neptune, a convertible art lens system that is essentially three prime lenses in one. " |

One Story, Unlimited Endings |
With the Neptune Convertible Art Lens System, you’ll be ready for anything. Interchange the three front lenses to shoot with a fixed focal length of 35mm, 50mm or 80mm; shoot exceptionally sharp images or insert the special aperture plates to edge your frame in delicate bokeh. Sleek, compact and simple to use, this handcrafted Art Lens System has an optimal feature for any shooting situation. All you need to do is attach the front element to the lens base. |
Inspired by the world’s first convertible photographic optic lens, the Neptune Convertible Art Lens System looks to the future. We’re already contemplating new front lenses with focal lengths ranging from a ultra-wide-angle 15mm lens to a 400mm monocular. Every new front lens we release will be compatible with the original lens base so that you can extend your range at a fraction of the price of a new standard lens. But we need your help! Everything we create is designed with your creativity in mind, so we want to hear from you. Back us on Kickstarter and you’ll be able to vote on which new focal length we release first! |
