Good morning, and welcome to the Saints Insider newsletter for Wednesday, November 16. It’s an indisputable fact that the Saints are one of the sloppiest, most mistake-prone teams in the NFL. They rank among the league leaders in turnovers, penalties and missed tackles. And all of these shortcomings were on display in their 20-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. I conducted our weekly re-watch of the game (Hey, somebody had to do it!) and the game film revealed a plethora of recurring issues for the Saints. My story on how a winnable game unraveled for the Saints in the second half because of a series of self-inflicted wounds. That's it for today. We'll have more coverage this week as the Saints begin preparations for their game against the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at the Superdome. Until next time, Jeff Duncan |
