By Chad Calder | Staff writerNORMAL 2.0: Louisiana is hardly the envy of the nation when it comes to vaccinations, but among those families coming out of their shells, the feeling is one of welcome relief, but also uncertainty and confusion. New Orleans City Councilmember Jared Brossett has entered the race for an at-large seat against two incumbents, a decision that counts on voters to forgive or forget the accident he had last year in a city-owned vehicle while allegedly drunk. This despite the fact that a video of him stumbling around near the Elysian Fields neutral ground was widely shared. Whatever his chances, his bid for the seat has implications for the race. TRAGIC DISCOVERY: A passerby noticed a car submerged in a canal in New Orleans East Saturday night and police had it removed from the water and found the bodies of a man, woman and child inside. Very few details were available Sunday, but it's a story we'll be following as it develops. All this and much more are in today’s Front Page and on NOLA.com. Thanks for starting your day with us.
