Aloha just wanted to add a little story behind this project,
Still in my heart is the memory of those days in the Pahinui backyard on Bell Street, where musicians gathered to enjoy just playing together without the stages or bustle of Waikiki or the pressure of all the paperwork and security now required for a huge gathering at the Park.
My lifelong dream has always been to share with all of you, the special comradery that exists among Hawaiian musicians when they gather to spend time together and share their music, kanikapila style. And so we go. After one fun-filled afternoon in the backyard, the addition of a few late evenings of editing and website design, the prototype for Live From Waimanalo is now a reality.
We know you will enjoy this one-of-a-kind webisode event. Hopefully, this will be the first of many monthly events to come, once we have subscribers, sponsor commitments, and other things finalized, and get into regular production. That is where you come in!
