The Rams actually opened as Super Bowl favorites. That lasted about 10 minutes, and most of our experts agree that the line moved in the right direction (how do you go against Brady-Belichick?) but NOT ALL OF THEM. Jason La Canfora's on the Pats, but my Spidey Sense is trying to tell me something about the Rams. Here's who we've all got.
After 266 games and almost five months, it's finally here: Super Bowl LIII. We know you've got a full day blocked off for the big one, and we've come prepared. Guinness World Records will be set, the sharpest picks will be made and interviews ranging from incisive to hilarious will be had. CBS Sports HQ's SUPER BOWL EXTRAVAGANZA is going on right now.
It doesn't SOUND very bold to predict that the Patriots will score a TD in the first quarter, but if you look at their previous eight Super Bowls, you'll see it's as bold as it gets. The Pats have never done it, so John Breech's prediction is actually pretty gutsy ... but that's nothing compared to what John says Tom Brady will do today.

Let's forget about figuring out which team wins the Super Bowl for a moment and focus on WHETHER ADAM LEVINE WILL WEAR A HAT (take NO at -220, it's a lock). There are a huge number of prop bets you can make and we did all the research to help you win, whether it's Sony Michel's rushing yards or Gladys Knight's national anthem length (take the OVER).
The Patriots don't even bother playing in Super Bowls unless they're mind-blowing thrillers, which is good news because (checking notes) in a few hours they're going to play in another one. I ranked every single Super Bowl, from the 49ers-Chargers blowout all the way up to several crazy ones involving the Pats; here's where I've got last year's Eagles victory.
There's a good chance you already knew that this would be Tom Brady's ninth Super Bowl, and maybe you even knew that if the Pats win they'll be just the second team to beat opponents ranked 1-2-3 in DVOA to win a title, but there's NO WAY you'll know all 53 facts on Sean Wagner-McGough's list.
Plenty of Super Bowl halftime shows have used prerecorded music, but it doesn't seem like it's asking a whole lot of the performers to at least plug in the instruments. Pete Blackburn's got that among his top 10 most bizarre halftime moments. Here's where he ranks one from 1995 that included LIGHTING A GUY ON FIRE.
First Trey Burton hit Nick Foles for a TD in last year's Philly Special, and then he hit the JACKPOT. The Bears gave Burton a $32M deal following last year's Super Bowl, and Joel Corry says the same thing could happen to certain players after today's game, including one former first-round pick who hasn't been with the Rams long.
