Aldi’s profits jump ahead of £1.3bn investment drive

Aldi's pre-tax profits jumped by almost 50 per cent during its latest financial year as its sales passed the £12bn mark, new figures have revealed. The supermarket giant, which has its UK headquarters in Warwickshire, has also pledged to invest a record £1.3bn by the end of 2021 which would help create 4,000 jobs.
