| Al fresco theatre in Covent Garden's secret oasis If you've ever gone for a stroll in Covent Garden, you've probably noticed the Inigo Jones masterpiece that is St Paul's Church. But did you know that it's more commonly known as The Actors' Church, because of its centuries-old association with the theatrical community? Today it keeps that legacy alive with a fabulous programme of theatre, and this summer's looking especially enticing.
On select dates from June to September, the secluded gardens of The Actors' Church will play host to incredible productions from all over the UK for you to enjoy al fresco (over a picnic, if you like — you're welcome to bring your own snacks!) There's Shakespeare, modern takes on old classics (including family friendly reimaginings), and even musical theatre to look forward to.
