Private Equity Unlocks New NGO Funding | Greater Share is set to unleash the prowess of private equity firms to magnify their impact by supporting high-performing NGOs in a new kind of philanthropy. Through its unique model, investors in Greater Share agree to share at least 50 percent of their gains with a set of high-performing NGOs, and best-in-class PE firms participating in Greater Share also donate 100 percent of their associated economics. With this model, the wealth creation effect of the private equity community is poised to significantly grow the amount of reliable, repeatable money NGOs normally would have to raise on their own—all while still delivering returns to investors. Through its first mission focus in education, significant financial support will be provided to eight high-impact education-focused NGOs globally who are advancing child-centered learning models and creating more holistic and equitable education outcomes. To learn more about Greater Share, reach out to [email protected], and listen to the latest Dry Powder episode below featuring Greater Share’s CEO Dana Bezerra and Co-Founder Graham Elton, Bain’s EMEA Private Equity Chairman. |
