As with anything new, implementing AI technologies can have pain points. It can cost millions to implement and take years to upload data in order to train the technology to give a reliable output specific to financial planning. That's one reason even a Tesla-driving, AI-visionary like Brian McLaughlin warns advisors against jumping into AI too quickly. "The hallucinations are what's scary," the president of Orion Advisor Technology said in a recent chat with Financial Planning. "There'll be a bad recommendation, or a poor choice or decision made in the use of AI, and that's something I actually don't think advisors should get on board with yet because it's just too early." You can read about his tips and trips of AI here, and much more, at Financial Planning. Feel free to drop me a line at [email protected]. Helping you from the ground up. |
