5783 May 14, 2023 Re: Distribution of food baskets during the "Shield and Arrow" operation I would like to express my gratitude to you, the "Feed Israel" organization, and your precious volunteers, for your consistent support and assistance to the residents of the South, including in the past week in which we, along with many residents of the center of the country, have experienced missile attacks on Israeli cities. At this time, when the cannons roar, we see your dear volunteers continuing their extensive activities without interruption, even during complex hours, and especially during emergency and wartime, a sight that is encouraging and warms the heart. In recent days, when many of the country's residents were forced to stay in shelters and protected spaces, the presence of your organization's volunteers and their acts of kindness are needed more than ever. On behalf of these families, parents and children, and on behalf of the Municipality of Ashdod and its residents, my heartfelt thanks go to you. Keep up the good work on the devoted work and activity, on the concern and caring.
