AFL takes third class for Operational Workforce Program

Spartanburg-based AFL continues its Operational Workforce Program into 2020 with 14 new students from Byrnes High School set to join the program in January.

Countybank and Greenwood Capital donate $47,002

Countybank and Greenwood Capital donated $47,002 as part of their annual campaign to United Way of Greenville County. Associates from both organizations made personal pledge donations totaling $37,002 as part of the employee campaign, while the Countybank Foundation provided an additional contribution of $10,000.

S.C. Community Loan Fund receives grant for small business

The Wells Fargo Foundation has given a $500,000 grant to the S.C. Community Loan Fund to help small-business owners with lending, technical assistance and community relationship building. The goal is to stimulate local economic growth and jobs.

Port leadership confident going into 2020

The S.C. Ports Authority continued to see year-over-year growth in November, with port leaders confident in their strategy going into the next decade.
