ADP, ISM report gains for US jobs, services sector The US services sector showed strength in February, with the Institute for Supply Management's nonmanufacturing index rising to 57.3, the highest level in a year, from 55.5 in January. Ky. governor asks employers to offer paid sick leave Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear wants employers in the state to provide paid sick leave, if they do not already, to ensure employees with COVID-19 symptoms can stay home. Companies in the state report making plans to address the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, but Jason Bailey of the Kentucky Center for Economic Policy said just 62% of private-sector workers in Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi have paid sick leave benefits, compared with 91% in the Pacific Northwest.
