In recent weeks we have shared a number of actions we’re taking in our stores so we can continue serving you while we all do our part to bend the curve for COVID-19. These decisions are grounded in current guidance from health authorities and our commitment to providing you a safe and welcoming environment. Today we wanted to share some additional updates: We are continuing to actively monitor the number of customers in our stores to ensure we’re providing you with a heightened level of social distancing. While we haven’t needed to limit the number of customers in our stores to this point, it’s possible we’ll be doing so this week as we anticipate an increase in customers preparing for their Easter celebrations. Another way we can all help with social distancing is by being mindful of the number of people we bring into the store when we shop. We respectfully ask that, if possible, you consider having only the person purchasing the groceries in the store. With the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently updating their guidance on the use of masks, we wanted to let you know we are encouraging our staff to wear a mask. We have ordered masks for every member of our store teams and will be providing them to each store as soon as they arrive. We are continuing to increase our online shopping fulfillment capabilities to meet a significant increase in demand. As a result, we have made some additional changes to our online shopping procedures. You can learn about them here. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to serve you. |
