| Dear friend and supporter, As Israel's military operations move into the second phase, with the IDF conquering and neutralizing terrorist threats in the western part of Gaza City, the impact on the civilian population continues to grow. The living situation is extremely challenging for the thousands of Israeli families displaced from their homes by the conflict. In addition, the evacuation across the country has left many children and teens without access to education or their regular routines. Recognizing this urgent need, the government, along with the Education Ministry, has established temporary schools and educational programs nationwide. These efforts are crucial and the need for these programs indicates the severity of the situation. With over 130,000 individuals displaced from their homes, the demand for basic necessities for Israeli families has skyrocketed. Our dedicated team at FI is tirelessly working to meet these needs. Every day, we distribute between 20,000 to 25,000 meals, providing essential nourishment to both the displaced families and the brave soldiers defending our homeland. |
