Learn new management skills this holiday season

Complete a course at Creative Communities Learning Lab (CCLL) in three hours! These free, self-led courses include: Digital community strategy and management, Ways to monetise your creative work and Bringing your training online. You can always come back and resume where you left off. Once done, you get a certificate.

Reimagining the legacy of Filipino musician Jose Maceda

33-33 (UK) and the University of the Philippines Center for Ethnomusicology (PH) present Japanese musician Aki Onda’s 2019 re-staging of Jose Maceda’s 1970s-piece Cassette 100. This online broadcast is supported by the British Council’s 2020 Connections Through Culture Digital Collaborations Grant.

Celebrating stories of making across the seas

Craft MNL (PH) and the Manchester Craft and Design Centre (UK) amplify the voices of makers from the Philippines and the UK during these challenging times through Hand to Hand. This initiative is supported by the Creative Hubs Collaboration Grant.

A musical masterpiece for Dr Wise on Influenza

We commissioned audio-visual artist and musician Joee Mejias to complement the 1919 British public information film Dr Wise on Influenza, through a musical score that highlights contemporary links to today’s pandemic.

Do creative enterprises contribute to inclusive growth?

The report features 10 creative enterprises in the Philippines to find out how they operate and create social impact. The study is led by Nordicity and Bayan Academy and commissioned by the British Council.
