Acadiana distiller's rice whiskey is 'one of the more fascinating whiskeys' on the market

By ADAM DAIGLE | Acadiana Business Editor

Good morning, Acadiana. Thanks for reading us and the business news we have this morning.

J.T. Meleck, the Acadia Parish distillery that makes rice whiskey, has released a large batch of aged rice whiskey ahead of the holidays. It's billed as the first commercial American whiskey made 100% from rice. "There is no other rice whiskey made in the American style on the planet," distillery owner and farmer Michael Frugé said.

You can read the story here.

Have a great day and see you back here Wednesday morning.
