A few weeks ago, we introduced the Digiday WorkLife Awards. We're certainly no stranger to awards programs, but this is our first time doing an award that recognizes employers. We wanted it to be different from the other lists and awards employers enter year after year. Something we noticed: Titles like "Best Place to Work" are often earned based on things such as compensation or perks. The WorkLife Awards go deeper. They recognize strong company cultures and the values that go into building them, day after day. We'll award organizations for commitments to areas like diversity, community and social good and innovation. We also wanted the judging process to be completely objective. Self-reported employee surveys can be both biased and flawed. The WorkLife Awards finalists and winners will be chosen by leaders in talent and HR from companies like Omnicom, Business Insider and The Trade Desk. Finally, we decided the entry process should be simple. There are no surveys to distribute and you won't find any fine print. The entry form is just four short answer questions. We're excited about the WorkLife Awards and its ties to our careers community. In fact, all entries include a complimentary job posting on Digiday Careers ($295 value). We hope you'll take part in this program and enter before the regular deadline this Friday. Please let us know if you have any questions.
