Your guide to an exceptionally marvellous May in London
Spring is now in full swing and London is all the lovelier for it. We're deep into wisteria hysteria — so we've picked out the city's prettiest pockets of purple blooms — and the warmer weather is making wholesome outdoor activities like open-air swims or a ride on a rowboat much more appealing.
But it's not just the sunshine that's got us excited right now — there are loads of fantastic things on the horizon to make this May extra special. We're especially looking forward to a first look at Queer Britain, the UK's first LGBTQ+ museum, which launches on 5 May in King's Cross. There's also the return of MCM Comic Con and plenty of lively viewing parties for Eurovision or, if you're after something a little more sedate, there's the good old RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
