Good morning, Marketer, oops they did it again! This can’t just be happening to me. Once again, I am being retargeted with digital advertising for something I have already bought; in this case, tickets to a book fair in the city this weekend. This has become a regular thing. I put my virtual hand up by going to a website and making a purchase and the brand — a brand that has never contacted me before — take this a prompt to begin bombarding me with emails and social media ads for the product or service I have just bought.
