Dear This Week in Geopolitics Reader, In my long life, I have met people who left a tremendous impression on me. In a matter of just hours, they profoundly impacted my life, personally or professionally. I am certain it is the same for you. When people who challenge and enlighten each other come together, extraordinary things happen. Questions are answered… ideas form... connections spark… These sparks can be sometimes life-changing—and occasionally world-changing. And that is why I would like to invite you to an intimate gathering at the Yale Club of New York City this fall. The occasion is Geopolitical Futures’ second conference, Rising and Falling Powers: Separating Signal from Noise. On Wednesday, October 25, 120 attendees will gather at the Yale Club together with me, my Geopolitical Futures team, and an exceptional panel of speakers. Together, we will explore how global power shifts currently underway will affect investors, strategy planners, businesspeople, and the world population at large. Today, you can be one of the first to secure your place. In addition, you can save hundreds of dollars by putting your name on a first tier ticket now. But I must mention that the number of these first tier, discounted tickets is necessarily limited. - Great ideas rarely happen in a vacuum but they rarely happen in a big crowd either, which is why attendance is limited to 120 people. The wonderful thing is that at any point during the day’s events, you could be sitting beside your next colleague, customer, advisor, or mentor. I truly hope you join us in New York City on October 25. I look forward to the opportunity to talk with you over breakfast, at lunch, and at a cocktail reception. Because in an age where a glut of information and noise circulates online, nothing compares to being in the room with people who have the same love of knowledge and advancement as you. Sincerely, George Friedman
P.S.—You can learn more about the conference and whether attending would be beneficial to you on the event page here. The Geopolitical Futures team will be adding more details and conference news to this page in the coming weeks. - |
