The practice of gratitude can feel like that fake smile, especially on low days when it’s harder to feel grateful. But a forced smile has the potential to turn into a hearty laugh and one positive thought can multiply.
When practised regularly, gratitude helps to shift your perception and build new patterns of thoughts and emotions. As shown by many studies, it’s a fast-track route to shifting your mood.
