It's been a fairly quiet time for the royals, but this week, that all changed.
It started with the Queen's second son, Prince Andrew, who, as we all know by now, was good friends with the late convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein, and has so far refused to cooperate with authorities who want to question him about the financier.
This week, however, the prince's lawyers have hit back at the claims that he has refused to speak to U.S. prosecutors over the Epstein sex trafficking probe, resulting in a spat between both parties. Phew. More on that below.
And over the past few days, a very close friend of the Duchess of Sussex has been involved in her own scandal. Although she's not a royal (can we call her royal adjacent?), Jessica Mulroney has been publicly vocal about her support of BFF Meghan Markle in the face of the racist treatment hurled towards her by the British press.
But a couple days ago, a Canadian lifestyle blogger, Sasha Exeter, said Mulroney had verbally attacked her and threatened her with a libel lawsuit, after Exeter, a Black woman, called out for more influencers to support the Black community in the wake of the police killing of George Floyd and the ensuing protests.
