Cash App, Lighting Labs, Lightspark Executives Discuss Bringing Bitcoin Payments To The World

During a panel discussion at the Bitcoin 2023 conference, executives from Cash App, Lightning Labs and Lightspark discussed the potential of bitcoin payments and building on the Lightning Network. The panelists included Elizabeth Stark, CEO of Lightning Labs; David Marcus, CEO of Lightspark; and Miles Suter, Bitcoin product lead at Cash App.

They acknowledged the growing adoption of Lightning as it solves real problems for users. The Lightning Network allows for faster bitcoin transactions while maintaining the security of the Bitcoin blockchain.

However, the panelists also recognized challenges such as liquidity and limited nodes. They emphasized the importance of developing user-friendly products and addressing these challenges to facilitate wider adoption.
