Dear SmartTrader,
I want to show you a strategy where if the market:
Stays the Same – Winner Moves Up – Winner Moves Down – Winner Here is a trade I put on recently that was geared more for a move to the downside.
The trade was placed when the market was trading around 6280.
One day later the market only moved down a couple of basis points and the trade is producing a $323 gain.
If the market moves down just 10.00 basis points, the trade will produce close to $2,000 in just a few days.
If the market stays where it is now, the trade will probably produce between $700 - $1,000.
If the market moves higher, there is a chance, in a very small range, AND if I hold onto the trade until the absolute last minute, the risk could reach $500.
This is a more bearish leaning trade placed on specifically because the market had just made a significant run to the upside.
So I placed on the trade to take advantage of an increasing probability that that market moves down, even if only slightly.
But notice, if the market moves up, that risk ultimately is diminished.
