Thank you for opening up your latest newsletter and giving me the opportunity to reflect on some of the key issues my teams have been reporting on in June, as well as the content they deliver to keep you entertained.
The coronavirus pandemic dominates headlines with our audience searching for updates on everything from the latest lockdown review to rules in Scotland concerning mandatory face coverings.

And a welcome message was revealed by an Edinburgh professor - an expert in public health - who claims Scotland 'could be Covid-free by the end of summer'.

Golf writer Martin Dempster brought us the great news that a golf club dangerously close to closure is now going from strength to strength on the back of the sport's current boom and has significantly increased membership.

Our heritage content continues to be popular as ever and Alison Campsie shared with us the full wonder of Fingal's Cave as captured by a sea kayaker in a wonderful video.
