Welcome to your latest newsletter with reflections on some of the key issues my teams have been reporting on in July, as well as the content they deliver to keep you entertained and informed.

The hot topic continues to be lockdown relaxation updates. We reported the news as it broke from the First Minister, who confirmed Scottish schools will return full-time in August.

We also addressed a question asked regularly - can grandparents babysit in Scotland?

And we’ve continued to bring you the latest breaking Scottish football news and transfer speculation including a bid for striker.

Our heritage and retro content continues to prove popular and many of you were interested in the remote lighthouse in search of a custodian.

Arts correspondent Brian Ferguson told us Scottish concert halls and theatres had been thrown a £10m lifeline to help survive shutdown.

And as we’ve started to venture out into beer gardens, bars and restaurants we delivered the great news that an award-winning seafood restaurant is set to reopen.
