| Theatre shows, lavender fields and arty summertime fun On the hunt for summertime fun? We've got it covered. First up: idyllic day trips within easy reach of the capital. From the pastoral bliss of our favourite lavender fields and PYO fruit farms, to the princely charms of these stunning Kent castles, we've found many quick fixes for your wanderlust (browse them all our Beyond London microsite). lf you'd rather indulge in some London-based entertainment, know that theatreland is absolutely buzzing right now. Disney's Beauty and the Beast has just begun the first leg of its UK tour at the London Palladium, leading immersive company COLAB Theatre is launching new show The West later this month, and we've got exclusive prices for blockbuster musicals Wicked (book by 3 July) and My Fair Lady (quick — you'll need to get tickets by 30 June!) Alternatively, you could get a dose of culture while soaking up the sunshine with an art trail. This free one in Canary Wharf celebrates the beauty of natural light, while this chimp-themed riverside trail is great if you've got kids in tow. New public art can also be found at Waterloo Station, Paternoster Square, and in Soho.
