Back in the summer of 2015, I made one of the best calls I've ever made as a Fantasy analyst. I told people to buy Rougned Odor.
Don't laugh! You would be forgiven for forgetting this after four subsequent disappointing seasons, but Odor was a legitimate difference maker -- after returning from a demotion to the minors, that is. He was sent down in early May after hitting just .144 to start the season, but I kept the faith, telling anyone who would listen that you shouldn't give up on Odor. He had an .861 OPS from his return in June on, in a season when Jason Kipnis led all 2B with an .823 OPS. He was one of my most memorable post-hype sleepers.
Post-hype sleepers should be some of your top targets in Fantasy, because it's an opportunity to buy low on talented players before they breakout. Scott White wrote about Kyle Tucker and 11 other post-hype sleepers to put on your radar for 2020. Plus, we've got a breakdown of some of the most potential platoon possibilities, and show the results of our latest H2H categories draft.
Platoons are important to know in Fantasy because they correlate to playing time. Here are the six most likely platoons and others who should try and improve their splits.
