Influenza ravaged the world, but Dr. Sartor, a compassionate, skilled physician in Titonka, Iowa changed the lives of many by treating and caring for over 1,000 influenza patients. In the muddy, miserable winter of 1918, Dr. Sartor traveled for hours and miles to serve patients. Over the decades, he made many trips to Mayo Clinic and referred patients.
