By Chad Calder | Staff writer 'IT MAKES NO SENSE': As the hunt for his killers continues in Texas, Detective Everett Briscoe was remembered Sunday by his colleagues in the NOPD and the Zulu Social Aid & Pleasure Club. Briscoe, a father of two and 13-year veteran of the force, was shot to death in a stick-up at a Houston restaurant over the weekend.
