Good morning. ⛅Today, reconsidering the white-washing of Ancient Rome, paying homage to ancient vessels that transported water, and a look at an upcoming exhibition that resurfaces over 100 unpublished Hokusai drawings.

I also want to mention that I will be away for the next three weeks leading a workshop at Chautauqua, but I’ll be back mid-August refreshed and ready for what promises to be a very busy fall season.
