The mayor on business

Last week, Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott inaugurated a Mayor’s Business Roundtable.

According to an announcement from the Mayor's Office, the initiative aims to unite the city's business and institutional leaders. The co-chair is a familiar tech ecosystem builder: Delali Dzirasa, CEO of Fearless.

“It is our responsibility as business leaders to use all of our tools and resources in an actionable way to address the challenges of our city,” Dzirasa said in the release.

With a focus on shaping policy and driving initiatives for the city's economic growth, the roundtable seeks to harness collective expertise, foster collaboration, and contribute to Baltimore's financial revitalization. Scott also emphasized inclusivity and strategic investment in both downtown and neighborhoods. Could we see a new era of economic prosperity for Baltimore?
