A 300,000 year-old girl

Meet Leti: a 300-millenia-old girl who was a pre-human ancestor. Leti's remains were recently found deep inside a cave in South Africa.

An LSU professor is part of the team that is studying Leti, and they think she could provide clues that could make us rethink how humanity came to be.

Landrieu to oversee Biden's infrastructure plan

President Joe Biden has picked former New Orleans mayor and ex-Louisiana Lieutenant Governor Mitch Landrieu to oversee the $1 trillion infrastructure bill that recently passed Congress.

The news broke last night, so we'll have more info soon, but here's what we know so far.

"There's a lot to figure out, but I really do believe it's going to be ok," she said.

Thanks for reading, have a great week!
