9TH CIRCUIT BLOCKS TRAVEL BAN: Federal appeals cou rt's ruling mostly upholds Hawaii judge’s decision

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has blocked President Trump’s travel ban on 6 majority-Muslim nations, saying Trump’s executive order 'exceeded the scope of the authority delegated to him by Congress.' In the decision, the judges relied on some of Trump’s tweets to determine his intent beyond the wording of the ban.
