| The Gotham has made its long awaited return to BJJHQ, at a special Black Friday price. The Gotham is one of 93's most popular BJJ Gis, and for good reason. From the fabric choices to the application of artwork to the overall build, it's all cream of the crop and never run of the mill. First up, the jacket. The 450 GSM Gold Weave is soft, breathable, and resilient, outfitted with strictly high-quality, high-thread count embroideries on the outside. The right arm's black-on-black swarm of bats is the perfect touch to the otherwise grayscale designs. Rather than all contrast stitching, 93 uses contrast (silver) thread in only select areas as to not overwhelm with a maze of lines and zags. Even the side vents are uniquely subtle: The vents themselves are black, while folded silver twill piping accents their edges. On the inside, a woven size label is hidden on the inner jacket flap, inspired by vintage NYC subway tile signs. The shoulder panel is lined with a moisture-wicking liner fitted with a sublimated cityscape and classy black woven label. Onto the pants: 10oz twill for reliable durability, but the brushed surface puts them in a league of their own. This brushed twill is the softest we've ever felt, hands down. It's used for the pants and the jacket collar, so your neck reaps the benefits as well. Extended knee reinforcements provide comprehensive coverage to the shin and knee, while the knee lining itself is Gold Weave rather than a 2nd layer of twill (the soft Gold Weave acts as a padding layer, minimizing the mileage on your kneecaps). Gold Weave crotch gusset at well. Equipped with a round stretch drawstring and multiple loops. . . And as an homage to the old school yellow "utility belt," 93 uses yellow accents for the two center-most loops. Throughout the top and bottom, all seams are covered with a custom woven taping, from the interior construction seams to the skirt edges and interior waistline.
