Temperatures will climb back into the 70s with falling humidity by the afternoon. Rain chances are much lower compared to yesterday, so many neighborhoods will stay rain-free.
TONIGHT: Mostly Cloudy Showers Possible Lows: 55-60 Winds: West 5 mph A few showers are possible this evening north and west of D.C. late this evening and during the early overnight hours. It will likely stay dry inside the Capital Beltway with comfortable lows in the 50s. WEDNESDAY: Mix of Sun and Clouds Highs: 74-79 Winds: Northwest 5-10 mph Nice weather is expected midweek with a nice mix of sun and clouds, seasonable highs in the 70s, and comfortable humidity levels.
THURSDAY: Partly Sunny Chance for Showers Highs: 73-78 Winds: Northwest 5-10 mph The morning will start off dry, but clouds will thicken during the afternoon with scattered showers developing from west to east during the afternoon and evening hours. FRIDAY: Partly Sunny Chance for Showers Highs: 67-72 Winds: North 5-10 mph Cooler weather will round out this first full week of May. Plan for relatively chilly morning temperatures, considering the time of year, in the upper 40s outside of the Beltway. High temperatures will be cooler than average in the upper 60s. Slightly warmer weather is expected south and west of D.C. through the Shenandoah Valley where highs will make it into the low 70s.
