WEDNESDAY, MAY 14, 2025 TODAY: STORM ALERT Mostly Cloudy Scattered Showers, Storms Highs: 71-76 Winds: Southeast 5-10 mph Lingering shower chances are expected through 7 a.m. Otherwise, plan for cloudy, damp, and muggy conditions out the door. There's a chance skies may brighten a bit late morning through the early afternoon, but showers and storms will likely redevelop this afternoon. The Storm Prediction Center has the DMV in the Level 1 out of 5 (Marginal) risk category for storms that could contain damaging winds and hail. Due to this threat, the First Alert Weather team will be on a STORM ALERT for the afternoon and evening hours. Any storms that develop could also produce heavy rainfall that could lead to additional flooding.

It will be mild and muggy with areas of patchy, dense fog developing by dawn. THURSDAY: Morning Clouds to Sun Isolated Showers, Storms Highs: Low 80s Winds: East 5-10 mph Morning clouds and fog will give way to sunny skies by the afternoon. It will feel very summery with highs in the low 80s and high humidity. While rain and storm chances are rather low, any storms that develop could contain heavy rainfall. FRIDAY: Partly Sunny Showers and Storms Likely Highs: 83-88 Winds: Southwest 5-10 mph Friday brings a taste of summer in May with very warm and humid conditions.
