TODAY: AM Clouds, PM Sun Chance PM Storms Highs: 85-90 Winds: South 5-10 mph Morning clouds and patchy fog will give way to sunshine this afternoon. It will be seasonably hot and continued humid with heat index values in the mid to upper 90s. Showers and thunderstorms may develop during the afternoon and early evening hours. Any storms that develop could contain downpours that could lead to flash flooding. Currently the Storm Prediction Center does not have the viewing area under any risk categories; however, the Weather Prediction Center has the area in the 'Slight' risk for flash flooding. TONIGHT: Partly Cloudy Lows: 68-75 Winds: South 5 mph Mainly dry conditions are expected overnight with seasonably mild temperatures. Areas of patchy fog are possible. WEDNESDAY: Partly Cloudy Chance PM Storms Highs: Around 90 Winds: South 5-10 mph The hot and humid weather pattern rolls on with afternoon heat index values nearing 100 degrees. There is a chance for a few showers and storms to develop during the day. Similar to days' past, any rain cells that develop could cause flash flooding. THURSDAY: Mostly Sunny Highs: 90-95 Winds: Southwest 5-10 mph This will be the hottest day of the week with afternoon highs in the low to mid 90s. Heat index values will be near 105 degrees. With the heating of the day, showers and thunderstorms could develop. Any storms that pop could contain damaging wind gusts and flash flooding. FRIDAY: Partly Cloudy Chance PM Storms Highs: Around 90 Winds: Northwest 5-10 mph Hot and humid weather will round out the week with scattered shower and storm chances during the afternoon and evening hours.
