A dry slot may arrive around lunch time and decrease snowfall during the afternoon. Wrap around snow showers may move in during the evening and add another inch or two. Some sleet mixing in south of I-66 is possible and may lower snow totals. Expect 6-12 inches with isolated higher snow totals west of DC and north of I66. TONIGHT: Snow Ending by Midnight Clearing Skies Lows: 21-25 Winds: Northwest 10-15, Gusts 25 mph Snow will taper off by midnight with clearing skies and increasing winds. Watch for blowing snow that could limit visibility. Temperatures will be well below freezing, so slick conditions are likely on untreated surfaces.
