In memory of Chadwick Boseman: Long live the king After a long fight with cancer, acclaimed actor Chadwick Boseman has passed away at the age of 43. Known for his epic portrayal of King T’Challa — better known as Black Panther — in Disney’s Marvel universe, Boseman leaves behind a cinematic legacy that won’t easily be forgotten. Following the announcement of his death on Twitter, outpourings of grief and remembrance came from all corners of the internet. In fact, the final post on the actor’s Twitter account has since become the single most-liked tweet of all time — surpassing the previous record-holder Barack Obama. Boseman was formally diagnosed with cancer four years ago, which means he was on-camera playing The Black Panther while fighting his illness the entire time.
