USDA invests millions in S.C. water infrastructure projects As part of a $891 million investment to modernize rural drinking water and wastewater infrastructure across 43 states, the U.S. Department of Agriculture is investing $29.1 million in five rural water and wastewater projects in Anderson, Chesterfield, Clarendon, Dillon, Florence, Hampton and Williamsburg counties. S.C. receives $1.14M to increase health care facility safety The funding is part of a $180 million Centers for Disease Control and Prevention initiative aimed at helping prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases in health care facilities nationwide. |
