I'm drowning in resumes Q: Help! I'm trying to hire for a part-time job. When I post the position, I get a ton of resumes but no one who actually fits the role. What am I doing wrong? A: I'll bet you're using free job boards. You can attract a lot of candidates on those sites, but as you've found, you won't necessarily get the right candidates. It's a ton of work sorting through all of that! When I'm hiring, I use LinkedIn Jobs. It can help by matching your role with qualified candidates so you can find the right person quickly. LinkedIn screens for skills and you can use a ton of different tools to narrow down your search. That means so much less work on your end. You can pay what you want, and you can use my special link to get $50 off your first posting. |
I NEED to fix my bad Wi-Fi Q: I just can't seem to fix my Wi-Fi issues, and it's getting in the way of my job. I've tried analyzers and all the tech tricks I can find on your site. Short of reaming my ISP, what can I do? A: I have a feeling your equipment is to blame. When's the last time you upgraded your router? I had the same issues in my house — a spotty connection, dead spots and all the frustration that came with it. Until I tried eero. Here's how it works: eero covers your whole home with fast, reliable Wi-Fi inside and out. You get a strong, consistent signal, even when everyone in your house is using the internet. It's super easy to set up, too. Plug eero right into your modem and you're good to go. Fix your issues overnight with free next-day shipping! Go to eero.com/kim. |
