CHICAGO: Charles Haracz has been named the new executive chef of Blue Plate Chicago. Haracz has spent the last 10 years with Bon Appetit at the Art Institute of Chicago overseeing all culinary operations. In the new role, chef Haracz will lead menu development for Blue Plate and oversee kitchen and field operations for its culinary team of more than 100. OMAHA, NEB.: Visit Omaha, the city's official tourism authority, has named Deborah Ward executive director. Ward has spent the past 14 years with Visit Omaha and has served as the interim director since July 2020. Before the pandemic, she led a strategic effort to bring more people to Omaha, which led to a 25% increase in visitation from cities around the region. ORLANDO/CENTRAL FLORIDA: Full House cast members Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), John Stamos (Jesse Katsopolis) and Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone) are joining MEGACON Orlando. The “all things fandom” convention will take place Aug. 12-15 in Orlando.
