| | | Finished soybeans on Halloween. Soybean yields were disappointing. I knew when the corn ground didn't get tilled last fall soybeans yields would be down. I figured if the soybeans made 40 bushels that would be lucky. They made 38 bushels, about 8 - 10 bushels below average. Most of the soybeans are out now. Some fields were good and some fields were really bad. The guys on the lighter ground did better. The field conditions are improving. They still are a long way from normal but nearly as bad as 2016-2018. The corn for most part is on tilled ground and has looked better all year. We will see. Read More | |
